Welcome to my New Blog!!

I have always wanted to start a blog, but I wasn't sure what to write about. I could have started to write one when I got engaged to my now husband. Why didn't I do one for my first born? Life has been passing by and I have so many stories to tell . . . I figured it was now or never!!

I'll start by telling you all a little about me. I am originally from Rockland County, NY. I have two amazing parents, and a younger brother that I love very much. I lived in Rockland for a majority of my life, until a few months before I got married.

I met my husband during Freshman year of college at Fordham University. We were both Biology majors and were friends all four years. It wasn't until senior year that I had the nerve to tell him I was interested in him. But at that point we were unable to be anymore than friends, for his plans were to go away to medical school out of the state. Low and behold, two years later, fate would bring him back to New York, and allow for our relationship to bloom!!

On February 12, 2005, Alex and I got engaged. He took me to the park we first visited on our first date, a year and half before, and proposed. Without hesitation, I said yes!! It was a beautiful moment that I will never ever forget! On August 12, 2006, we exchanged vows, and became husband and wife.

We had a beautiful wedding day, it was Sunny and 76 degrees. We were surrounded by our family and close friends, and enjoyed each and every moment.

Our honeymoon was spent on the Carnival Legend, cruising through the Caribbean. It was an amazing experience!!

We have now been happily married for a little over six years and enjoying each and every moment together :)
